Many products can be recycled. I will give two examples and how work the procedure. The first one and the easiest to recycle is paper.The paper is collected by recycling banks by waste management companies. Once the paper is collected they sorted, graded, and deliver to a paper mill. After that they added to water and then turned into pulp, to later screened, cleaned, and de-inked through a number of processes until it is suitable for papermaking. At that point it can be used to make newsprint, cardboard, packaging, tissue and office items.
The second one is the aluminum. This product can be recycled many times without loss the properties. And the recycle it just 5% of the energy and emissions needed in comparison to make it from raw material bauxite. Knowing that we can see how is important and we can help the environment to recycle that product.
This aluminum is the product most collected. Aluminum drinks cans are collected by almost all local authorities, and increasingly aluminum foil; such as clean ready meal trays, chocolate foil and wrapping and cooking foil; is also collected.
The process is: Shred the whole cans, removing any colored coating. When finish that procedure start to melt the shreds in a furnace to, after that, pour the molten metal into ingot casts to set. "Aluminum foil is a different alloy, and is usually recycled with other aluminum scraps to make cast items such as engine components, where it makes a big contribution to making vehicles lighter and more energy efficient." And many people think they are used just to make the same thing.
Did you know they use aluminum to make cast items such as engine components? I did not know that. And it is just one more thing that make me keeping recycling. Every time I read about recycling I find something interesting about that topic. The next one I will explain will be about the plastic recyclingthat is more complex.

What do you think can be recycled?
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about recycling is paper, plastic and aluminum. But I did not stop to think about more things that can be recycling until today, when I read some article about what can be recycled. It is not just those that I usually thought. It is bigger.
We can recycle a lot of things.
How about someone use DVD and CD to be used in art??? Isn’t it possible??
In the dictionary RECYCLING (noun) is the act of processing used or abandoned materials for use in creating new products.
Do not you think that it is possible? Recycling making art? How many arts could we produce?
The trash could be used in schools to teach children produce art and use their imagination. Also to be used in art’s school.
But not just CD, many other objects could be used to the same thing.
How about furniture? Many people buy new furniture many times. What they do with the old furniture?
I know that in USA they have many second hand store. And I think it is a good idea to make recycling because the people keeping use things that is old to someone but new for another one. It is true, because if the last owner had care about he is giving to be selling, the next person that will buy it will have someone semi new. The people do that all the time with cars. Why not with another things such as furniture?
In my country we do not have this culture to go to a second hand store. But I think it could be a good idea to starts. Because doing that we help our planet. Or better saying, our house. Our house that we are not taking enough care and is worse day by day. I think everything that we do to help is good. Because helping to keep our planet health, it means keep our life health. Everything bad that happening in our planet will reflect on us.
Think about that. If you do not do anything to help the planet is because you are thing the wrong way or think just about yourself but not on other generation that is coming such as your kids, grandchildren, …

Recycling is very important to the world and since I realized that I am almost always watch people’s behavior concern trash. When I realized that recycling is really important to help the planet and do not let it be worse, I tried to do recycling but I could not. But we cannot forget that when we work to save the planet, we also are doing that for ourselves because we need a good place to have a good life. We need to take care of our planet to survive.
About my own experience of recycling, I tried to recycling in my mom’s house but the problem started in my own place where I live. I asked them to throw plastic in one bag, metal in other one, and paper in the last one. But all the time when I arrived at home I could see paper, metal, or plastic in the common trash. And I always claimed about that. But we also have another problem, because we did not have place to throw the recycle trash. Later on, one guy came to our house and said that he will take the recycle trash once a week. He started well, and my brother, sister, mom, and the housekeeper, started to divide the recycle trash. But then the guy started to came just twice a month and once…and never more. And then started the same problem to accumulate trash and we did not have place to throw the “special” trash. And I think that problem should be fixed by the government that should make good system of it.
Recycling is difficult to maintain, and the government needs to be very active to make it work. Because if we want recycling and we do not have support, it does not work. I say that because it can happen the same that happened in my house that we did not have place to throw the recycle trash. But to help to reduction of the trash has something more important than recycling, that is do not produce trash, or… better saying…reduce producing trash. And it will be what I will talk the next time because I think it can be very or more important than recycling.

While I am researching about recycling and read more about this topic, I found more interesting things. I just read about children having class about recycle. It was part of their science curriculum at the Elementary, a public school on West 17th Street in Manhattan, New York. And the class is the third grades that have children that are 8-9 years old. They learn while they still children making it easier to help when they have their houses. They have learned how to reduce, reuse and recycle as they call Three R’s.
They learn but also they help to recycle in their house discussing with their parents. When children are learning they ask a lot and when they see someone doing different from what they learned they ask why the person is doing that. The children learn in the school and when arrive at home want to say to their parents what they learn about the recycling. The parents know that it is important and do not want to do different in front of their kids. And doing that, they help the environment.
I think that every school should have in their curriculum the recycling class. And it could start on the preschool that the children could start to learn as the same time them they play. Doing that, they can start the good habit while they are children. It is easier to teach habit when they are children because to change behavior is difficult and it takes time. Before I read the article I have never thought about this possibility, and now I think this is really important and can be a good way to do more people concern about the problem if we just produce more and more trash without recycling.
Recycling is really important because our world needs help and we can waste more time do not helping it. The quantity of trash that is produced is too much and it is making worse day by day. I think everything that does more people helping to recycle it is valuable. Our planet asks for help every day and we do not stop to listening it.

Trash's fee

I was researching an interesting article about recycle and I found a really interesting point that I had never thought about before. What I am talking about is what is happening in a city of Belgium. The quantity of trash produced in the world is something that we can imagine. It is too much trash for our planet and many people do not worry about it. The announcement and commercial to ask people to help to recycle their trash and try to produce less trash is in everywhere, but many people do not care about it. The government in Flanders town of Lokeren, one part of Belgian, started to do something to change the quantity of trash produced in there. How they did that? They started to charge people where they pay separated fee for the trash produced. More trash they produce, more money they need to spend. They have a special car that weighs the trash every time they go to take the trash at the houses. They have a computer with all data about the population and when they weigh the trash they save the information connected to the correct people/family. When I read the article I thought it is a really interesting type of control. The population is producing less trash since it started and they are changing their habits to better. Many people when go to grocery store look for food that does not have a lot of paper or plastic. They prefer to buy fresh food. Buy fruit instead of frozen juice. And when I stopped to think about that I think it can be a good idea. It does not help just the nature but also help the population healthy because they are eating more fresh food. I do not know if they have a limit of trash and if they produce more than that they need to pay, or if it is for every trash they produce. In Brazil the people do not worry about recycle. It is very difficult to make the people to do that. The government do not work hard for educate the population to recycle though. But I think it could be a good idea to have a limit for person to produce trash and if produce more they need to pay fee. Or, every house should do recycle in their house and if they went to take the trash and it is not separated they charge the house’s owner. Recycle is really important and the people do not have this as a really important thing to our planet and our life.
